Pedro the Lion @ Skully's Diner Columbus (5/15/19)

Pedro the Lion returns for the first time in 15 years with the album Phoenix, a storytelling piece describing David Bazan’s childhood growing up in Phoenix Arizona. It’s a beautiful work that explores his childhood experiences and digs into them deeper from an analytical adults eyes. For this tour, Pedro the Lion played most of the album Phoenix but also threw it back a little for the more longterm fans. This will be the last time David will be touring as Pedro the Lion for “a little while” so definitely catch a show on this tour if you can, and give the album Phoenix a hard couple listens.
