Lucky Daye @ Agora (7/30/24)
Fana Hues opened the show Tuesday evening at Agora. The California Native came out expressing gratitude for everyone who showed up early to catch her set. Playing tunes from a mix of her three albums, Fana dazzled the crowd and got them amped up for Lucky Daye.
Lucky Daye entered the stage to screaming fans and jumped right into “Soft,” from his new album, Algorithm. From the moment Lucky Daye took the stage, I knew I was in for a good show. Wearing straight leg denim and an open structured jacket, he danced around the stage, making eye contact with fans on both sides of the stage. The stage itself was washed with visuals from a giant projector, and the lighting stayed a constant blue or red. The entire show was on maximum energy, and as someone who watches a lot of concerts, I appreciated that the energy level stayed high throughout the performance. Lucky played a variety of tunes from throughout his discography, and making sure to play the hits that got him where he is today. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, and would love to catch him again his next go around Cleveland!
