Khruangbin @ Jacobs Pavilion (5/29/2024)
Khruangbin took the stage Wednesday night and played a perfect soundtrack for the summer evening next to the city.
Texas-based, Khruangbin consists of members, Laura Lee Ochoa on bass and vocals, Mark Speer on guitar and vocals, and Donald “DJ” Johnson on the drums. With their newest album just coming out April 5th, Khruangbin played the entirety of it for their first set. From the very first song, "Fifteen Fifty-Three", the crowd was swaying and grooving along. They also played a "second set" for the later half of the show with some of their classic tunes.
Despite a fews technical difficulties, the show was the exact thing Cleveland needed to welcome in Summer.
